AUTUMN EQUINOX 2024: The Dance of Light and Shadow

In this in-person workshop, Luisa will facilitate a ceremonial container for participants to explore the energetic and psychological dynamics of the conscious and unconscious forces that shape our lives and our relationships. We will cultivate a conscious relationship with the elements of light and shadow within our own psyches to prepare for the descent into the fertile darkness of autumn and winter.
In this four-hour ceremony-workshop, you will:
• Experience Luisa’s transformational Grounding & Merging Process (a guided journey through your energetic infrastructures)
• Learn about the psychological and shamanic dynamics of projection*
• Experience two drum journeys into inner space
• Create an autumn equinox talisman to accompany you over the coming six months
*In shamanic terms, psychological projection can result in “soul loss.” When we withdraw an unconscious projection, there is a simultaneous experience of emotional-spiritual sobriety and of deflation, both of which require time and introspection to integrate. Understanding these dynamics enhances our inner work during the darkening months of autumn and winter.
Bring:
• yoga mat and/or blanket
• eye-cover for journeying
• drum/rattle (if you have them)
• a bag lunch and snacks
• water bottle
• journal & pen
The following will be provided at the workshop venue:
• Backjacks

• water
• light snacks
• Extra drums and rattles will be available
Notes:
• Please refrain from wearing scented body care products
• Arrive 10-15 minutes before the workshop begins
• Doors close promptly at 10 a.m.
• Please DO NOT come to this event if you are experiencing any symptoms of viral infection
• If you have to cancel due to illness, you will be given a credit of the tuition amount which can be applied towards one of Luisa’s pre-recorded courses on the Teachable platform.
