Shamanic psychotherapy is not simply the application of shamanic techniques within psychotherapy. It is the cultivation of a practitioner’s capacity to perceive, relate, and respond therapeutically from an increasingly integrated state of consciousness.
This practicum offers a rare opportunity to witness and participate in the clinical reasoning, energetic discernment, and relational decision-making that underlie Luisa’s approach to shamanic psychotherapy.
There comes a point in a therapist or healing practitioner’s development when learning another technique is no longer the next step. The next step is refining energetic perception, relational attunement, and ethical discernment.
This Practicum is for advanced practitioners who are ready to identify and metabolize their unconscious loyalty to their inherited family and systemic patterns, deepen their relationship with their Three Energy Bodies, and become increasingly skilled in perceiving from the Fully Blossomed Self.
The questions at the heart of this practicum include:
• How do we discern what is actually happening within another person’s energetic, psychological, and relational world?
• How do we distinguish intuition from projection?
• How do we know when an intervention is appropriate—and when it is not?
• How do we recognize when a client’s Systemic Identity Dimension (SID) is generating their perception of reality…or our own?
• How do we cultivate the kind of consciousness from which ethical, effective shamanic psychotherapy naturally emerges?
• Cultivating the practitioner’s relationship with the Fully Blossomed Self as the foundation for ethical perception and intervention
This is not a techniques course and it’s not a certification program.
It is an apprenticeship in which we cultivate your most important instrument as a practitioner: your own consciousness.
During our six months together we will explore topics such as:
• Advanced clinical discernment
• The practitioner’s consciousness as the primary healing instrument
• Distinguishing Systemic Identity Dimension (SID) perception from integrated Three Energy Body perception
• Working relationally within the journey state
• Understanding the energetic sequencing of intervention with a client
• When soul retrieval is appropriate—and when it may be contraindicated
• Working with fragmentation, carried shame, systemic shame, and cognitive dissonance
• The Three Energy Body Model in clinical practice
• Recognizing the activation of the Systemic Identity Dimension (SID)
• Differentiating symbolic, imaginal, archetypal, and literal perception
• Ethical questions in shamanic psychotherapy
• Case consultation and clinical supervision

Our Weekly Meetings
Our weekly meetings are highly experiential and interactive. Together we will explore actual clinical situations, explore and practice shamanic psychotherapeutic interventions, discuss ethical dilemmas, engage in live demonstrations, journey together, and cultivate the discernment necessary for relational shamanic psychotherapy.
This practicum may be appropriate for:
Graduates of Luisa’s Shamanic Psychotherapy Mentorship Program (or equivalent experience with The Embodied Mystic curriculum, shamanic journey work, and previous individual work with Luisa)
Admission is by application to ensure that participants have sufficient grounding for this level of work.
The intention
The goal of this practicum is not to create practitioners who work like Luisa. It is to support practitioners in developing their own ethical, grounded, relational, and discerning way of incorporating their mystical intelligence and skills into their lives and into their work with clients.
As you become increasingly able to perceive from the Fully Blossomed Self, your work with yourself and others becomes less about technique and more about participating in a healing relationship from a foundation of inner self-understanding and organized mystical consciousness.
