Shamanic Psychotherapy Mentorship Practice GuideA structure for your practice

Hello Mentorship Students~

I’ve put this outline together for you to reference when you’d like to have the different components of your shamanic practice all on one page.

I. Begin with your Journey Intention:
Write your intention in your journal and then place your hands on what you’ve written to absorb it into your energetic infrastructures.

Dear Ones, Sacred Ones—
I intend a journey to meet the spirit of ____________________.
Blessed Be.

II. Call in the Directions: 14 minutes

Raise your hands and turn to face the direction being called

III. Call in Power:
Join in with your drum, rattle, voice, or by moving your body along with the recording

Version One: 11 minutes
Start at 01:45 to skip the spoken introduction

Drum and rattle

Version Two:
6 minutes
Shorter version with drum, rattle, dumbek, vocals, and meditation bells

IV. Drumming for your Journey:

12 Minute Drumming Track

18 Minute Drumming Track

V. Post Journey Grounding: 8 minutes

VI. The Grounding and Merging Process: 21 minutes
This is not typically part of the journey process, though it can be used instead of Calling in the Directions and Calling in Power.

In my experience, being merged with my Fully Blossomed Self and/or with Source can be an alternative to Steps II and III on this page.

Note: Please let me know if there other essential parts of the journey technique that you’d like to have included on this page.
